Spend a few days living the rhythm of animals and nature at New Story Farm

Stay in a re-purposed postal truck located in the old orchard or bring your own tent or camper. Join us for community meals in The Coop where you will also find an ADA Compliant bathroom and shower. All are welcome here.

Feed the cows and pigs some apples, cuddle up with a chicken and get some laughs watching the shenanigans of a full-of-character ex-street dog named Burdock. Take a hike through 40 acres of native prairie and hickory/oak forest.

You will find a plethora of wildlife around at all times of the day and night. At times you will hear geese, pheasants, song birds and see deer, trumpeter swans, mallard and wood ducks, sandhill cranes, leopard frogs, painted turtles, coyotes and maybe even a cougar! Cool off in the creek or visit one of the many lakes just a couple of miles away.  Our favorite is Stahl's Lake. If you want to learn about wild foraging, medicinal herbs or anything farm-related we can arrange that too.

Meditation and Yoga practices are supported here as often as possible, feel free to join-in at anytime.
